So earlier this afternoon I was out for a walk with one of my friends. She said something that got me laughing so hard that I peed all over myself. And it wasn’t just a few drops; I continued to pee for a solid 30 to 40 seconds. My yoga pants were (thankfully) black and covered in pee but I couldn't stop laughing because at that point she was laughing at me! Of course, we were almost back home when some neighbors I had never met were outside and wanted to talk about having just moved in and me being pregnant. Thank goodness I drink so much water that my pee is almost clear and doesn't really have much of an odor. I was quite uncomfortable though standing there having a conversation while discretely covered in pee

♥♥HELLO THIRD TRIMESTER♥♥
Crazy to think that I only have about 11 weeks left!! This week she has been a lot more active & this morning when I woke up my belly was hard as a rock. Tomorrow we have a 3D/4D ultrasound. Can't wait to see her little face profile❤❤❤❤❤
The third trimester begins in week 28 of pregnancy and lasts until you give birth, which may be around week 40 of pregnancy
- Bones: As your baby transforms cartilage to bone in months 7 and 8, he’ll be getting all of her calcium from you — so be sure to eat plenty of calcium-rich foods.
- Hair, skin and nails: By week 32 of pregnancy, baby’s formerly see-through skin will become opaque. In week 36, fat continues to accumulate as your baby sheds his vernix (the waxy substance that protects his skin from your amniotic fluid) and lanugo (the hairy coat that keeps him warm in there).
- Digestive system: In the final weeks of pregnancy, meconium — or baby’s first poop, consisting mostly of blood cells, vernix and lanugo — starts to build up in baby’s intestines.
- Five Senses: Your baby’s touch receptors will be fully developed around week 29 or week 30. By week 31 of pregnancy, your baby will get signals from all five senses, perceiving light and dark, tasting what you eat, and listening to the sound of your voice.
- Brain: In the third trimester your baby’s brain will grow faster than ever, test-driving some nifty skills including blinking, dreaming and regulating his own body temperature.
CHANGES IN YOUR BODY
- Fatigue: You’ll feel more zapped this trimester because of the demands pregnancy is putting on your body, so eat well and frequently, stay active
- Heartburn: In the last few weeks of pregnancy, your uterus will push your stomach and its contents upward, causing that persistent burn. If it’s really bothering you, talk to your doctor about proton-pump inhibitors (PPIs) or H2 blockers, which are safe to use during pregnancy.
- Braxton Hicks contractions: Your body’s way of preparing for labor, you’ll start to feel these irregular practice contractions now until real labor starts
- Stretch marks: These tiny tears, which appear in skin that’s being stretched to the limit during pregnancy, are usually a result of genetics. Moisturize to minimize their appearance.
- Backache: As the pregnancy hormone relaxin loosens your joints and your growing belly pulls your center of gravity forward, you may start to have an achy back
- Clumsiness: Your hormones are on overdrive, your belly is throwing you off balance and you’re more forgetful than ever. You’re in good (pregnant) company — so just try to be careful and have a sense of humor about it!
- Lack of bladder control: You sneeze = you pee. Indeed, all that extra weight on your pelvic floor makes it harder to stay dry. To the rescue: Your daily Kegels regimen.
- Leaky breasts: Your body’s warming up to feed your baby.
Pregnant Klutz
Now that I'm pregnant, I keep on bumping into things, or dropping things out of my hands. Why is it every time I eat I spill something on my boobs or belly. It happens all the time in the worst places, when I wish it wouldn't (cause its usually out in public and people stare... Ugh #pregnancyproblem #fatty #embarrassed
Clumsiness During Pregnancy
First of all, your burgeoning belly has shifted your center of gravity, throwing your balance off-kilter during pregnancy. This uneasiness in balance is most apparent when you're climbing a flight of stairs, walking on a slippery surface, or carrying something heavy. Not being able to see past your belly to your feet can also make tripping a lot easier to do. Second, the loosening of your joints and ligaments, can make your grasp on objects less firm and sure. Third, pregnancy fatigue can keep you off your game, making it easier to both trip and drop. Finally, pregnancy scatterbrain syndrome can also give you a leg up on clumsiness, making it likely that not only will you forget where you left the keys, but that when you actually find them, you'll keep on dropping them.

28 Weeks Appointment
Just had my 28th week appoiment yesterday heart rate was 154 baby is measuring right on schdule, no weight gain for me. Took my gluclose test and have not heard my results yet. Also blood pressure was 124/ 84 so it is lower than it has in past which made me fill good. Also had blood work done to check for annima. And I go back in two weeks
YOUR BABY AT WEEK 28
Your baby has started blinking and dreaming while you may be dreaming that the pain in your derriere will disappear! Your baby is settling into the proper position for birth, with his head facing downward (toward your body's nearest exit!). Your little work in progress is now about 2.5 pounds and almost 16 inches long (measured head to toe).
You've made it to the third trimester and even though you're on the home stretch, you're probably about ready to be done with pregnancy! In your final trimester, you'll feel the physical toll of pregnancy. The extra weight can lead to musculo-skeletal pain, and fatigue can slow you down even more. You might also find it harder and harder to get comfortable whether you're trying to sleep, sit at work or relax on the couch. Shortness of breath can also plague pregnant women during the final trimester.

MILF Status...LOL
Stylish Layla
While I certainly don’t think that baby girl has to be dressed in girly clothes all of the time, though I’ve picked up a few dresses. Once she starts picking out her clothes, we’ll let her wear whatever makes her feel good. Hopefully it’s something awesome like a tutu or rain boots.

Active Little One
What an active little girl we have. She loves kicking my ribs and hugging my bladder!! Furthermore, the kicks are a calming effect and provide security. The assurance that Layla is alive and moving. Initially, it started as a slight sensation of bubbling in the lower abdomen. Gradually the feeling has changed to light pat, as if someone touched very gently the inside of my uterus. Give mommy a break little one.
